Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, or supplies
- Help other workers move or carry materials or loads
- Perform basic tasks in preparation for more complex activities
- Operate simple machinery or equipment
- Answer phone calls or take messages
- Perform basic clerical tasks, such as filing or sorting mail
- Help workers set up or put away equipment or tools
- Follow written or oral instructions to perform tasks
- Perform basic maintenance or repairs on equipment or machinery
- Help workers assemble or disassemble equipment or products
- Transport materials, equipment, or supplies from one location to another
- Load or unload trucks, trailers, or railcars
- Perform basic quality control checks on products or materials
- Help maintain inventory of supplies or materials
- Assist with other tasks as needed
