A Door to Door Cleaner is a professional who provides cleaning services directly to residential or commercial clients, often traveling from one location to another to perform tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various surfaces.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to clients' homes or businesses to provide cleaning services.
- Dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, and other surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
- Mop and sweep hard floor surfaces to remove dirt and debris.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and bathroom areas, including sinks, countertops, and fixtures.
- Wipe down and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and handles.
- Empty and replace trash and recycling bins as needed.
- Organize and tidy up living or working spaces.
- Clean windows and mirrors to remove smudges and streaks.
- Dust and clean blinds and curtains to remove dust and allergens.
- Provide deep cleaning services for carpets, upholstery, or tile and grout.
- Follow specific cleaning instructions provided by the client.
- Use appropriate cleaning tools and chemicals for different surfaces and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while performing tasks.
- Communicate with clients to address any special requests or concerns.
