Job Description
General Cleaning Tasks
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors
Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, shelves, and windowsills
Empty bins and dispose of waste properly
Clean glass surfaces, mirrors, and windows (interior)
Spot clean walls and doors
Restroom Cleaning
Clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, and sinks
Refill soap, toilet paper, and paper towel dispensers
Mop floors and disinfect high-touch areas
Report any plumbing or maintenance issues
Kitchen/Break Area Maintenance
Wipe down counters and tables
Clean sinks and appliances such as microwaves or fridges (if assigned)
Ensure the area is stocked with necessary supplies
Deep Cleaning (As Scheduled)
Shampoo carpets or polish floors
Clean behind and under furniture or appliances
High-level dusting or vent cleaning
Health & Safety
Follow all health and safety regulations and use appropriate PPE
Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals and equipment
Report any hazards, damage, or needed repairs to the supervisor
Other Duties
Lock/unlock rooms as needed (if trusted with keys)
Restock cleaning supplies
Assist with special cleaning tasks or emergencies (e.g., spills, biohazards)
Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order
